Recently, Moncur sent a copy of the book “Who Moved My Cheese?” to every employee. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it. It really got me thinking about all the change I’ve had to face in the last year—and how I’ve dealt with it.
You see, I’m not one who’s particularly fond of change (but is anyone, really?). I like my routine. It’s comfortable. It’s safe. Until it’s not. Until that “cheese” you’ve been chowing down on runs out. Or worse yet, someone moves it without telling you where they put it.
That’s what this cheese story is all about. It’s about the importance of not only embracing change, but embracing it proactively. Because if you get too comfortable with same old same old, that cheese will be gone before you know it and you’re going to get really hungry (or in my case, hangry).
“Who Moved My Cheese?” applies to many different scenarios of change, but I found it particularly applicable to Moncur and the branding work we do for our clients.
