Last month, the Community House hosted its third annual Business Symposium on October 23. Participants who attended the sold-out event took part in three informative seminars. The seminars were led by a moderator and panelists who provided insights on “How to Make More Money”–which was the theme of this year’s symposium.

Our own David Moncur was among the panelists speaking at one of the seminars, his talk focusing on the subjects of targeting your markets and messaging, rooted in his own experiences and connecting them back to the local business community.

According to Camille Jayne, President and CEO of The Community House, this year’s symposium exceeded goals and raised $37,000 to help fund TCH programs for at-risk youth and children in need in Oakland and Wayne counties.
