Marketing Director
The Marketing Director leads our marketing department, setting strategic direction and ensuring the execution of marketing strategies across all channels to meet or exceed our B2B clients’ business goals. This role requires a balance of advanced marketing expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of analytics and performance optimization. The Director will oversee our agency’s Marketing Team and work closely with Account Executives, Creative Directors, Developers, and other teammates to drive marketing innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the marketing vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s and clients’ overall business objectives
- Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing strategies across social media (organic and paid), digital, content, brand, and demand generation efforts
- Lead and mentor the Marketing Team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, innovation, and client-focused solutions
- Set and drive the company’s social media strategy, ensuring active engagement, brand growth, and measurable business impact across key B2B platforms
- Demonstrate expertise in social media personally, showcasing a strong, successful presence on relevant platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, on-brand messaging and the successful integration of digital strategies into broader marketing campaigns
- Analyze market trends and marketing performance data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Oversee and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient spend and ROI for all initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting strategic recommendations, insights, and results to key stakeholders
- Drive marketing innovation within the agency, keeping abreast of the latest marketing tools, platforms, and best practices
- Contribute to new business development efforts, leveraging marketing expertise to support pitches and proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or experiential equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a strong background in marketing strategy development and execution for B2B clients
- Extensive experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, GA4, SEMrush; on-platform organic and paid media tools in LinkedIn, X, and Meta; and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
- Deep expertise in social media strategy, digital marketing, demand generation, content marketing, brand strategy, and analytics
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire teammates and hold them accountable for high-quality performance
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen understanding of how to interpret data to drive strategic decisions
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients and internal teams
- Experience with HubSpot is required, including marketing automation, CRM, and analytics capabilities
- Must have a demonstrated, successful personal presence on key social media channels relevant to B2B marketing
- Agency experience preferred, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and innovations
Our agency operates in a hybrid model, allowing the team to work at headquarters in Southfield, MI or from home. Fully remote employees must be able to:
- Work EST hours. Our office hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm EST; work is done during these hours unless client needs/deadlines require otherwise.
- Secure a stable home wi-fi/connectivity setup that supports virtual work/meetings.
- Travel to HQ and/or client locations 3-4 times per year, in support of collaboration, team productivity, and client requirements. Travel and lodging expenses for required visits by fully remote employee will be covered by Moncur.
