Digital Marketing Copywriter

The digital marketing copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling content that drives measurable results for our clients. This role entails being the researcher, the wordsmith, the editor, and the marketer, all in one, writing all content within a client’s digital marketing strategy—from highly technical thought leadership blogs to engaging social media posts—and everything in between.
To be successful in this role, one must be a skilled writer, with complete command of the English language, as well as the ability to know when to bend the rules. He or she must be able to research, understand, and communicate about complex subjects clearly, as well as creatively—all with the clients’ audience and goals in mind. The digital marketing copywriter must have a thirst for knowledge, a passion for learning, and a collaborative, positive attitude.

Responsibilities
- Create compelling content for digital marketing activities including, but not limited to, blogs, email, social media, and paid digital media
- Support the development of digital marketing and content strategies
- Conduct ongoing research to gain subject matter expertise on behalf of our clients
- Seek to thoroughly understand and emulate our clients’ tone/voice, style preferences, industry language, etc.
- Collaborate closely with members of the Integrated Digital Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams to support the development of client deliverables
- Ensure quality and accuracy of your own work, and others', through detailed proofreading and review
- Effectively balance multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of current trends and best practices, as well as a commitment to your own personal growth and development
- Uphold our company core values of collaboration, curiosity, growth, excellence, and harmony
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in a related role (copywriting, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, etc.)
- Experience writing across a variety of digital mediums (blogs, emails, social media, paid media)
- Mastery of the English language
- Knowledge of content marketing best practices
